Biscayne Bay Brewing is the first food and beverage tenant that will be a part of the School of Whales’ investment project in the historic Post Office building at 100 NE first Avenue.

“What we’re looking to do is make it a place where people can come and eat,” said Andrea Petersen, cofounder and CEO of the School of Whales.

Biscayne Bay will be located on the third floor of the property.

“It’s a beautiful open setting with numerous seating options for groups large and small,” said Jose Mallea, Biscayne Bay’s president.

Customers will be able to watch their favorite game on a large screen projection.

They will also be able to enjoy a mix of classic beer recipes such as tropical Bay IPA, Miami Pale Ale, Le Colada Porter. Food options will include a tour of Iberian flavors.

“From traditional Spanish-style tapas, Catalan cocas, and Portuguese seafood conservas,” Mallea said.

Biscayne Bay is set to open its doors in the coming months.

Anyone who wishes to invest in School of Whales’s project can do so at just $500. The school is working with Stambul Development for the project. Other than Biscayne Bay, another bar is set to open in the coming months in the attic of the building.
