Located on Jog Road south of West Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Atlantic Plaza will soon be adding a sub shop to its food and drink roster. The new sub shop, Rocket Subs, has been serving up a selection of sandwiches for several months as a food truck concept, and now it’s moving into the brick-and-mortar space with a restaurant opening at 15200 Jog Road.

Owner Ryan Laggini says the inception of the concept Rocket Subs concept came out of what he considered a lack of really good subs in the area.

“I’d been feeling like there weren’t many good sandwiches,” Laggini told What Now on Monday. “Everybody seems to use the same bread, and it’s so expensive. So I wanted to try to bring a quality, affordable product to the market.”

The menu is streamlined, with freshly made Italian subs along with a selection soft drinks, energy drinks, and—in the upcoming location—with tea beverages from Mystic Brew Teas.

Opening in the Atlantic Plaza location, Rocket Subs joins restaurants like Ah-Beetz New Haven Pizza and Beijing Palace.
