With more than 50 locations in the United Kingdom, Black Sheep Coffee is growing across the globe. It’s currently making its debut in Texas, and—according to coverage on WorldCoffeePortal.com earlier this year—a total of 15 locations are expected from its initial U.S. expansion, including in Phoenix, Miami, and Atlanta.

A plan review submitted recently by Black Sheep Coffee LLC shows plans for a Black Sheep Coffee opening at 2750 SW 27th Terrace #108 in Coconut Grove. This appears to be Black Sheep’s first planned location in Miami.

“Usually, companies that are successful in the U.K. always open in New York,” co-founder Gabriel Shohet told the Dallas Morning News earlier this year regarding the brand’s initial move to Texas. “We looked at all the data and we felt like, actually, Texas is on the rise of all states in the U.S.”

And so the rollout begins here in the southern half the United States.

What Now reached out to a U.S. representative of Black Sheep Coffee on Saturday to inquire about plans for a Coconut Grove opening. The representative was not immediately available for comment.
