Deerfield Beach appears to be the future home of another Chipotle Mexican Grill location planned for South Florida. The chain has more than two hundred outposts in the state of Florida, and a recently submitted plan review indicates another location is planned for the area, this time at 3311 W Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach, not far west of the intersection with Powerline Road.

With a total of almost 3,000 locations worldwide, the Chipotle name is by now almost synonymous with the phrase “fast casual,” and while it already has deep roots here in South Florida, it is showing those roots can always go deeper.

As most will know by now, Chipotle offers a choice of burrito, bowl, taco, or quesadilla as a delivery system for proteins like steak, chicken, carnitas, barbacoa, and more (along with an ever-growing roster of plant-based choices). Toppings include a choice of brown or white rice, black or pinto beans, and others, like salsa, cheese, veggies, queso, and guacamole.

Situated to east of Hillsboro and Powerline, on the northwest corner of the intersection with DC Country Club Boulevard, the location is just across the street from a retail center that includes restaurants like Açaí com Tapioca, Sumo Japanese Restaurant, Hungry Howie’s Pizza, and Pamonhas do Gojás.

No opening has been announced yet for a new Chipotle location in Deerfield Beach.
