Founded by Ioannis Sotiropoulous and Efthymios Palioura, European-style bakery Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, but it’s not sitting back on its laurels. Crema Gourmet is preparing to launch a new location at 200 S Biscayne Boulevard #175 in Downtown Miami, according to recently submitted plan review paperwork.
Jeremy Waks, the franchisee for the Downtown location spoke with What Now on Tuesday about what drew him to the growing South Florida cafe brand.
“When I was introduced to the franchisors, I immediately loved their product,” said Waks. “All-day breakfast; great coffee; really good, healthy food, smoothies, and juices. There’s something for everybody.”
Crema Gourmet’s all-day breakfast menu features dishes like the Greek Omelette and Feta Cheese & Tomato Scrambled Eggs, plus handhelds like the Croissant Breakfast Sandwich, Avocado Toast, and Salmon Bagel. Smoothies come in flavors like Red White & Blue (coconut water, strawberry, banana, blueberry) and Greek Stallion (kale, spinach, dates, chia seeds, almond milk, banana, cashews, cinnamon, mountain honey.
On the lunch side are more handhelds like the Prosciutto sandwich served on a baguette with mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers, arugula, and balsamic vinaigrette, plus a selection of salads, bowls, and penne pasta dishes. And that’s not even to mention the cafe chain’s selection of coffee and tea beverages.
The Downtown location isn’t the only new Crema Gourmet in the works: the brand is also coming soon to Boca Raton, Lauderdale By the Sea, Dania Pointe, and Pembroke Gardens.
