Restaurateur and owner Michael Schulson is bringing the concept to the Wynwood neighborhood at 2550 NW 2nd Ave, in the former space of Wynwood Kitchen and Bar. The 4,500 square foot eatery will serve a pan-Asian and sushi cuisine, much like its original concept in Philadelphia. The building is also attached to the Wynwood Walls, a graffiti museum.

According to the report, we can expect the concept by early 2023, and it will employ around 70 people.

Schulson shared that the concept is conducive to the cuisine that south Florida seems to prefer: clean and light fish-centric meals. Schulson is quoted in the report saying: “So why not roll with the original Double Knot further south?”
