Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza currently has nine locations in South Florida, the brand’s main market. It is currently working on expansion, with locations open or opening in cities like Dallas; Madrid, Spain; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia—but this doesn’t mean it’s neglecting its South Florida home. A recent plan review indicates that Mister O1 is planning another location in South Florida, this time in Bay Harbor Islands.

“Raised in Southern Italy,” the restaurant’s website says of Chef Renato Viola, “Viola developed a passion for cooking at an early age…Chef Renato Viola came to settle in Miami Beach under the O1 Visa category, reserved for those with ‘Extraordinary Artistic Ability’ of internationally acclaimed fame.”

Chef Viola’s menu in the restaurant’s Wynwood location features classic pizza varieties, plus special varieties like Daniele (Italian tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh fior di latte cheese, Prosciutto di Parma, basil) and Maria (Mozzarella, arugula, fresh tomatoes, Prosciutto di Parma, Italian parmesan). “Extraordinary” pizzas include Star Carlos (Star shaped pizza, filled with ricotta cheese, mozzarella, bacon, onions, fresh tomatoes, ranch dressing, basil).

The menu also features calzones, salads, antipasti, and desserts like Nutella Pizza.

What Now reached out to a representative of Mister O1 on Monday morning. The representative declined to comment at this time. No opening date has been announced for a Bay Harbor Islands Mister O1.
