In Fort Lauderdale, at 3537 Galt Ocean Drive, a new location of Giorgio’s Bakery & Bistro is under construction. The restaurant is taking over the space that once hosted Whales Bar and Grill, and Tsaliamanis anticipates a June opening.

Boca Raton is also due for another Giorgio’s Bakery & Bistro. However, an exact address for this unit is unavailable. Tsaliamanis said that it should appear on the south side of Boca Raton. An opening date isn’t available at this time either.

The next concept to see expansion is Taverna Opa, which is already well established in Hollywood, Delray Beach and Orlando. Tsaliamanis said that the next location will be in Fort Lauderdale. An exact location is not available as of now. Earlier on in the pre-opening stages, Taverna Opa is estimated to open near the end of the year.
