“Back in 1985, when America was still hooked on greasy hamburgers and fried food, we were one of the very few concepts nationwide to offer freshly prepared, great tasting and healthy meals, made from high quality, natural ingredients at affordable prices. Nothing canned, frozen or processed, no hormones, antibiotics or GMO’s in our food,” says the restaurant’s website. “It’s either grilled, broiled or steamed, instead of being fried, reheated or microwaved. Our all-natural chicken is grilled on an open-flame in full view of the customers and is served with tasty side orders, prepared from scratch, in small batches all day long in our sparkling Kitchens.”
Since its founding in 1985, the brand has expanded to include 30 locations in the state of Florida, and its growth looks to be continuing: a recently submitted plan review shows a new Chicken Kitchen in the works at 15738 SW 72nd Ave in Miami, next to Dadeland Mall.
The new location would offer shoppers at Dadeland Mall the brand’s popular chicken-focused menu, which includes Chop-Chop Bowls (big, bold, delicious and highly customizable with 28 toppings to choose from), the Wrapito (just like your favorite burritos… except, unlike most of our competitors who use dark meat, they are prepared with all white meat chicken breast, tender and juicy), the Cheesadilla, and a selection of salads.
What Now reached out to Christian de Berdouare on Tuesday to inquire about plans for a new Chicken Kitchen near Dadeland Mall. Berdouare was not immediately available for comment.
