The retail center at 6169 Jog Road may soon be home to a new chicken concept. A recently submitted plan review describes a project called Jackson’s Chicken Shack at that address.
What Now confirmed news of the opening with a representative of the restaurant on Wednesday. The representative said the restaurant expected to start serving chicken before year’s end.
A description of the brand currently available on Google describes Jackson’s Chicken Shack’s menu as follows:
“Breaded chicken/grilled chicken sandwiches, wraps, salads, fries, chicken tenders. All chicken is made fresh, no frozen products used. Signature sandwiches, and you build your own the way you like it. Many toppings, dressings, and cheeses to cho[o]se from.”
The shopping plaza, southwest of the intersection between Jog Road and Lantana Road, is anchored by a Walmart Neighborhood Market. It is also home to eateries like The Cup ‘n Saucer Restaurant & Coffee Bar and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
