Boca Raton is still awaiting the opening of PEBB EnterprisesRestaurant Row project, which will bring five restaurants to a 22,500 square-foot space by Town Center Mall. Another concept headed to restaurant row is Shabibi, a new restaurant from celebrated chef Ralph Pagano, the restaurateur whose Yes Hospitality Group is behind brands like Naked Taco and Highbar at the Dream Hotel.

“We could not be more excited to finalize our lease with Ralph Pagano and Yes Hospitality to round out the incredible roster at Restaurant Row,” PEBB Enterprises President and CEO Ian Weiner said in a press release last month. “Ralph shares our passion for Boca Raton and desire to elevate the quality of dining options in the city. Restaurant Row is poised to accomplish exactly that.”

Shabibi will seat 170 guests, including a 70-seat patio, a 50-seat bar, and “a maza station with a 10-seat bar and brick oven where pitas and flatbreads will be made fresh all day and night.” It will feature a wide selection of wines and champagnes with an emphasis on shareable dishes, boasting a wide range of plant-based alternatives to familiar Lebanese dishes like kefta and lamp chops.

“I am thrilled to collaborate with PEBB Enterprises and join Boca Raton’s only standalone food destination,” Pagano said in the press release. “Restaurant Row appeals to a refined taste, and Shabibi allows me to showcase my lifelong love of Lebanese cuisine.”

Recent coverage by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel projects a debut date in late 2023 or early 2024 for Shabibi. Its opening is expected to mark the completion of the Restaurant Row project.
