The hard rocking restaurant is planned to open in Plantation at 11401 Pines Blvd. In the Pembroke Lakes Mall, expect to find the new concepts surrounding several other (probably quieter) restaurants, like California Pizza Kitchen, Buffalo Wild Wings and Miller’s Ale House.

According to Anz, they are in the permitting stage of pre-opening. Given how early-on in the planning they are, Anz doesn’t have a firm opening date. But, their tentative goal is for the end of the year.

Per the website, TradeCor, LLC is a “real estate development firm specializing in restaurant and retail projects. TradeCor has developed projects throughout the US.” The company currently operates five Rock & Brew restaurants.

More expansion from the group is possible. “This is our first unit in South Florida, and we certainly want to continue to build more Rock & Brews in South Florida,” said Anz.

The brand was born when concert tour promoter Dave Furano and his brother Michael Zislis were backstage with Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS. According to the website, Furano asked the rockers, “What’s better than rock and brews?” And this was the question that started it all.
