Smoothie Spot Is Expanding to Davie

Located on State Road 84 between Pine Ridge Drive and South Pine Island Road, Pine Island Ridge Plaza appears to be adding a Smoothie Spot location to its restaurant roster. The smoothie chain’s website shows a Davie location “COMING SOON,” and a plan review submitted by Smoothie Spot Davie LLC indicates a Smoothie Spot opening at 8902 W State Road 84.

Smoothie Spot, which currently has twelve locations operating in South Florida, offers a selection of smoothies in varieties like Berry Bomb (blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, strawberry protein) and PB&J (strawberries, blueberries, cranberry juice, strawberry protein, peanut butter). You can also try the Protein Coffee Frappe, which comes in three flavors: Caramel, Peanut, and Chocolate.

On the food side, Smoothie Spot offers breakfast items like Avocado Toast and the Steak and Eggs Omelet, plus empanadas in varieties like Beef, Spinach, and Tropical Vegan. There are also Signature Meals, which include wraps like the Miami Wrap (ground turkey, spinach tortilla, spinach, rice, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, garlic cilantro dressing) and salads like the Tex Mex Salad, with steak, black beans, corn, and pico de gallo.

What Now reached out on Thursday to Javier Marrero, a franchisee behind Smoothie Spot Davie LLC, to inquire about plans for the new location. Marrero was not immediately available for comment.
