Miramar Square, a shopping center in Miramar, will soon be home to Star Bunny, a new boba tea and fruit tea concept from Tea Boom Inc. Star Bunny will open there, at 12162 Miramar Pkwy, later this fall.
What Now confirmed the news with co-owner Jin Chen on Wednesday morning. Chen said he had noticed a lot of beverage spots in the area, but not so many tea houses, and so the brand saw a gap to fill. Star Bunny will offer fruit teas and boba teas, along with a variety of Chinese desserts.
“We want to share these with everybody,” Chen said about the brand’s dessert side. “We’re bringing it in from China. Chinese dessert is very different from American dessert.”
Opening at Miramar Square, Star Bunny will be part of a food and drink community that also includes Tribeca Restaurant & Lounge, Sarpino’s Pizzeria, and Giardino Gourmet Salads.
Further details about the Star Bunny menu are not available yet, so stay tuned for more info, and keep an eye out for a new boba tea shop headed to Miramar Square this fall.
