The popular Mexican restaurant brand is expanding its reach in south Florida. According to their uniquely design website, the brand has one location open in the area, and three more are on the way.
What tipped us off was some leasing data that we recently found for their forthcoming 1688 Meridian Avenue location. However, we found the data a bit late, as this location is very near opening; the brand’s sights are set on May.
Although, after poking around on their site, we found a couple of other addresses where the brand is looking to set up shop. Slated for a June 2022 opening, expect to find a Tacombi at 69 SW 7th Street in Brickell.
Much later this year, a Wynwood outfit will be opening on NW 26th Street. Expect to see this location in December 2022.
The brand started as a little food stand in Playa del Carmen in Mexico before opening their first taquería in a garage in New York. Now, the company has locations in Washington, DC, Miami and New York.
