Pilo’s Beach Club, a sister to Brickell’s Pilo’s Street Tacos and Wynwood’s Pilo’s Tequila Garden, has opened at 1216 Washington Ave. in Miami Beach. Described in recent coverage in the Miami New Times as promising “a chic beach, dress-to-impress ambiance, intimate DJ sets, and some taco and tequila favorites from its existing sister locations,” Pilo’s Beach Club’s official opening date was Friday, April 21.

Seating about 150, the beach club sports some emerald green furniture, Pilo’s popular birria tacos, and a speakeasy portion called Titi’s Champagne Room, named after the son of Goat Hospitality Group founder Derek Gonzalez.
Gonzalez told the New Times that “Miami Beach needed this kind of place, not just for the tourists but for the locals, too.”
The New Times coverage breaks another piece of news too: Goat Hospitality is planning a rooftop spot in Brickell, called Luna Sol. Gonzalez says in the New Times coverage that Luna Sol will be billed as “Miami’s first cenote,” boasting a “Mila-meets-Tao Group vibe.”
What Now reached out to Derek Gonzalez on Monday to inquire about Luna Sol. Gonzalez was not immediately available for comment on the upcoming new concept.
