“We’ve done very well in Delray,” co-owner John Brice told What Now on Thursday. “The community has been incredibly supportive.”

Brice is the husband of the brand’s eponymous chef Ana, whose empanadas come in classic varieties like Beef, Pollo Gordito, and Vegan Veggie, plus a range of Special Empanadas that are constantly rotating. Current varieties include the Cuban Sandwich Style Empanada, the Buffalo Chicken Empanada, and the Southern BBQ Beef Brisket Empanada. On the sweet side, Mini-Dessert Empanadas include the Apple Pie Mini Empanada and the Dulce De Leche Mini Empanada.

Both John and Ana have considerable experience in food service—John as a franchisee for several fast casual concepts in the Northeast, and Ana as a partner in a Beverly Hills catering company offering kosher Persian cuisine.

“Our philosophy is we want to take empanadas and make them friendly to just about all different cultures,” Brice told What Now.
