If you’re looking for healthy and delicious food that won’t break the bank, you’ll be thrilled to learn Hialeah will soon welcome back a location of Chicken Kitchen, the fast-casual brand from Christian de Berdouare, who opened the company’s very first location in a 300 square-foot storefront in New York City.

That was way back in 1985. Today, the brand operates locations across Florida and Texas, with a new storefront on the books for 6450 NW 186th Street in Hialeah. The menu boasts wraps, Chop-Chop bowls, and salads, as well as Grilled Breast Meals, Cheesadillas, and healthy kid’s meals.

Lease intel obtained by What Now Miami indicates the brand is setting up shop in a 1,500 square-foot retail space in the Vista Shopping Center that is anchored by Sedano’s Supermarkets. There the eatery will be in the company of other fast-casuals like Chipotle Mexican Grill, Don Pollo, and New Mr. Lee’s Chinese Restaurant.

We reached out to Berdouare for comment but had not heard back at the time of publication, so the opening timeline for Hialeah’s new Chicken Kitchen currently remains unclear.

You can learn more about the brand by finding Chicken Kitchen online.
