Ford’s Garage Plantation Walk is part of a nationwide group of restaurants officially licensed by the Ford Motor Company to use Ford branding and memorabilia to evoke the look and feel of a 1920s service station. The décor includes vintage vehicles, fixtures and gas pumps and even a Model A car suspended above the center bar.

Servers wear mechanic shirts, blue shop towels are used as napkins and bathroom sinks are made from tires and fuel pump nozzles. Even the bars are decidedly vintage, mixing Prohibition-style elements like brick, richly colored woods and a copper bar top hammered by hand.

The Plantation location of the service station-inspired eatery is owned by 23 Restaurant Services, a hospitality company based in Tampa, Florida, which now owns 18 Ford’s Garage locations.

“We’re thrilled to bring Plantation its own Ford’s Garage,” said Marc Brown, President of 23 Restaurant Services in a statement. “This is a great area with a lot of potential for growth, and we look forward to seeing the new restaurant thrive while providing a best-in-class meal and memorable dining experience to the community.”

The setting is unique, but at Ford’s Garage, burgers are the prime attraction. The meaty selections are crafted with Black Angus beef and continue the automotive theme with names like Model “A” and the High Octane Burger. Vegetarians can also fill up on flavor with the Green and Clean veggie burger. Burgers come with all-natural aged cheeses, fresh toppings and sauces on artisan buns branded with the Ford’s Garage logo.

The restaurant also specializes in American comfort food options, including BBQ pork ribs, chicken wings and tenders; fuel-efficient light fare such as fresh salads, grilled chicken and seafood; and “sidecars” like Piston Onion Rings and mac ‘n cheese. Diners can top off their meal with “sweet rides” like milkshakes and key lime pie.

Ford’s Garage Plantation seats approximately 250 guests in its 7,500+-square-foot dining room and 1,200-square-foot patio. It serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Hours are Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.- 11 p.m. and Sunday 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m.
