A new restaurant called La Detente is going to open this fall in North Miami at 14446 NW 7th Ave. The restaurant is conveniently located alongside Northwest 7th Ave for those traveling into and out of Miami. The building that La Detente will be located in is near two different religious institutions, one being the Gospel Assembly Of North Miami and the other called the Truth Worship Center.
What Now Miami spoke with the owner of La Detente on the phone for some details about the restaurant’s opening timeframe. According to the owner Joe Bolind, the restaurant is currently in the process of being renovated on the inside. More specifically, he says that they are in the process of having new windows installed in the building. Bolind says there is no set opening date yet for La Detente, but he expects that it will open in the fall of 2022. Bolind said that he is working on getting all of the licenses he needs to open the restaurant. There is currently a plan review published online for La Detente.
There is not yet a website or social media site up and running for La Dente and it is unclear if the restaurant will pursue this in the future. Even so, locals of Miami should be on the lookout for this exciting new spot for Asian cuisine.
