On Southwest 107th Avenue, not far south of West Flagler Street, a new pizza restaurant is preparing to open its doors. According to recently submitted plan review paperwork, the Golden Lizzard is preparing to open at 196 SW 107th Ave.
“It’s going to be pizza by the slice, New York-style,” a representative of the restaurant told What Now on Tuesday.
But while the restaurant is expected to open in the next few months, the representative said no further details can yet be shared about the brand and its menu offerings.
“It’s going to be something a little different,” the representative said. “We can’t give anything away yet.”
Opening near the Southwest 107th-West Flagler intersection, the new pizza shop will join a thriving community culinary community that includes restaurants like La Esquinita Habanera, Bawarchi Biryanis Indian Cuisine, Pinecrest Bakery, and more.
