According to a plan review filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the restaurant will set up their new location at 1039 South University Drive, which is less than half a mile from the current location at 801 South University Drive.

On Wednesday, What Now spoke with Laura Padrino for details. The brand is planning to execute the move this summer, sometime after the month of July, when the lease at their current location ends. Padrino said that they will design a new and more contemporary atmosphere in the new location. More outdoor seating and a full bar will be featured in the new space.

Don’t expect any changes to the menu or the concept as a whole. The goal of the move is to update the appearance and style of the restaurant, which has been operating for more than thirty years.

The Padrino family began their legacy in 1976 by opening their first restaurant in Hialeah. Since then, the family has passed the brand down to the rising generations, who have opened restaurants throughout Broward and Dade County.
