Located in the Waterways Shoppes in Aventura, Yummy Frozen Yogurt offers a modern self-serve approach to frozen yogurt, offering a froyo that is gluten-free and certified kosher, with plenty of plant-based options too. The brand has met with success in its Aventura home and is now preparing to expand to a new location, this time in North Miami Beach, at 901 N Miami Beach Blvd #3

Owner Alex Kravets confirmed the news with What Now on Thursday. Kravets says the new location is in the final stages of renovation.

At Yummy Frozen Yogurt, the process is simple. “You just grab a cup and design your own dessert,” said Kravets. “There’s no limitation for what you can put in the cup.”

Guests choose from a variety of dairy and plant-based frozen yogurts, loading up their creation with candy and other toppings and condiments. The product is sold by weight at 75 cents an ounce, so you won’t have to spend time crunching the numbers when you throw in another topping.

The Aventura location’s most popular flavors, Kravets says, have been chocolate, vanilla, cookie dough, and NY cheesecake on the dairy side, and, on the vegan side, mango, strawberry, raspberry, and passion fruit.

The North Miami Beach Boulevard location sits across the street from Jefferson Plaza, joining a community of restaurants like Chick-fil-A, Smoothie King, Popeyes, and Macillon Grio Fish & Chicken.
