Fans of the wood-oven pizza chain will feel right at home in the new location. Sicilian Oven’s Cooper City outpost will feature the same menu in a similar, roomy venue that seats about 125 guests indoors and outdoors, owner Ralph Di Salvo told What Now on Friday.

Sicilian Oven’s two most popular items are the Sicilian Salad (romaine lettuce, garbanzo beans, red onion, celery, shaved parmesan, candied walnuts, roasted red peppers, in a balsamic vinaigrette) and the Boss pizza, with fresh mozzarella, fresh tomato sauce, and olive oil. The menu also features a variety of pasta dishes and Sicilian Specialties like Eggplant Reggiano and Mussels Mario.

“Everything comes out of the wood oven, there’s no conventional oven,” said Di Salvo.

The oven cooks at about 700 degrees. At that temperature, a pizza is done in about four and a half minutes.

On top of its Italian cuisine and wood-fired pizzas, Sicilian Oven also serves up a selection of craft cocktails. You can follow the local pizza on Instagram (@sicilianoven) to keep up with Sicilian Oven news.
