Sushi Sake, a restaurant initially opened by a pair of brothers in 2009, has grown to be quite popular in the greater Miami area. Restaurateur Yohan Peraza loves the concept, and after becoming a regular at other locations, he decided to franchise his own at 1232 S Dixie Highway

In a phone interview with What Now Miami on Friday, Peraza said that as an owner of a location, he looks forward to being able to enjoy more of the food he will serve. A strong advocate for the company’s take on Japanese cuisine, Peraza commented: “I love the food, I was [at other locations] basically every other day.”

The restaurant is close to opening. Peraza reports that they have recently completed construction, and they hope to be passing inspections soon. If all goes as planned, they will be opening in the next two months.

The location will near other eateries such as Ohho Noodles Market and Mamey Miami.

A plan review filed with the state on January 25th is still in process.
