News of a sister concept was broken earlier this week in coverage by Florida Food & Beverage Weekly. The FFBW coverage says the new location will “serve traditional and non-traditional elevated Mexican and Tex-Mex items. They plan to have small entertainment acts, like DJ’s and 1-2 person performances.”

The Tulio’s Tacos and Tequila Bar menu features tacos with a range of protein choices, including Chorizo, Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Shrimp, Grouper, and Lobster, along with plant-based options like Cauliflower and Portobello. Bar Tulio’s is expected to focus more on the beverage side, but it’s not yet known exactly what differences should be expected between the two concepts’ menus.

The restaurant is currently under construction, working toward an opening “as soon as April,” the coverage says.

What Now reached out on Monday to Tulio’s Tacos and Tequila Bar owner and founder Brian Parenteau on Monday to inquire about plans for Bar Tulio’s. Parenteau was not immediately available for comment.
