“It’s a simple menu: right to the point,” owner David Adan told What Now on Thursday. “Every chicken is breaded to order, marinated for twenty-four hours. We’re Nashville hot chicken fanatics and we do not take it lightly.”

Bro’s Hot Chicken’s streamlined menu is built around five meals:

  • Bro’s #1: Jumbo Tender with Sandwich
  • Bro’s #2: 2 Jumbo Tenders with French Fries
  • Bro’s #3: Jumbo Tender with Sandwich and Fries
  • Bro’s #4: Chicken Sandwich with Fries
  • Bro’s #5: Bro Bowl (Crinkle cut cajun fries, chopped up jumbo tenders, cole slaw, pickles)

All these are served with your choice of sauce, with six Spice Levels: No Spice, Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot, and Fuego—this last one is so hot you’ll have to sign a waiver to try it.

As a test run, Bro’s Hot Chicken had been filling delivery and takeout orders from a space in a warehouse. Adan says this location had a surprising effect.

“It’s sort of hidden, and that was my problem, that customers weren’t going to like that. But I guess that built up some of the hype. People kept saying, ‘Have you tried the one in the warehouse?’”

The hype hasn’t stopped since. Adan says Bro’s Hot Chicken is planning on turning it into more locations. The brand won’t reveal where it’s headed next yet, but expect to see more brick-and-mortar Bro’s Hot Chicken locations in 2024.

In the meantime, check out Bro’s Hot Chicken on 67th Avenue and follow @broshotchicken on Instagram.
