“We’re a Black-owned business establishment trying to tie in that Miami/Las Olas/South Beach vibe for the upper South Florida area,” a representative told What Now on Monday.

The food menu is still under development, the representative said, but the menu promises to foreground “seafood and all your bar favorites with a South Beach twist.”

Hookah will be provided by Blow1 Smoke Shop, located in the same shopping center, which is situated on the southeast corner of the intersection between Northwest 19th Street and North State Road 7.

In addition to food, drink, and hookah, 4 A.M.’s space will also serve as a venue for DJs, live music, and other special events. In its restaurant configuration, the space seats about 150, but it can be expected to accommodate closer to 200 for special events with standing room.

“Come check us out in the summertime,” the representative said. “We want to do a big grand opening and a big reveal, and we will have some celebrity appearances. It’s definitely going to bring a new vibe and something fun to the Fort Lauderdale area.”

After the first 4 AM location launches this summer, more are expected to follow, so stay tuned.
