Miami and New York-based real estate firm Lefferts announced earlier this week that it has signed iconic New York pizzeria Roberta’s as a tenant at 72 Park, the developer’s luxury Miami Beach condominium complex. It will be the first Florida location for the Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant, which was founded by Brandon Hoy and two-Michelin-starred chef Carlo Mirarchi.

“We are very excited to introduce Roberta’s to the vibrant city of Miami,” Roberta’s chef and co-founder Carlo Mirarchi said in a press release. “The energy and diversity of Miami’s food scene resonates deeply with our commitment to providing fun and memorable dining experiences for our guests. With its rich cultural tapestry, Miami provides the perfect canvas and 72 Park the perfect home for Roberta’s first step into the Florida market.”

Founded in Brooklyn in 2008, the restaurant quickly began to grow in popularity, offering a “diverse menu of artisanal plates and seasonal dishes curated with local, international, and homegrown ingredients from its rooftop garden,” says the press release.

Roberta’s has since opened a series of new locations in New York City and has gone on to expand globally with restaurants ranging from casual to full-service.

“Lefferts is committed to this neighborhood and is thoughtfully curating products and experiences that will celebrate and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors. We couldn’t be happier that Roberta’s has chosen to open at 72 Park, bringing a taste of NYC and an award-winning dining experience,” Lefferts chief development officer Jim Hedden said in the press release. “Roberta’s is the perfect addition to the lifestyle and amenities planned for our luxury condominium.”

Roberta’s will occupy 3,000 square feet on 72 Park’s ground floor. 72 Park, which will feature a total of about 10,000 square feet of ground floor retail space plus 22 stories of residences, is expected to reach completion next summer.
