With more than a dozen locations in the state of Florida, along with several in California and another in Hong Kong, Gelato-Go appears to be preparing to expand with another new location in South Florida, this time in Hallandale Beach. A recently filed plan review shows Gelato-Go opening at 701 North Federal Highway, Suite #105.

“We make our own Gelato base daily with fresh ingredients,” reads the Gelato-Go website. “Our secret is the meticulous search of the ingredients used in each of the recipes, imported from our homeland of Italy and from all over the world. Some of the ingredients we use in the production of our Gelati are pistachios from Bronte, Sicily, hazelnuts from Langhe, Piedmont, and we exclusively use Valrhona chocolate, which sources cocoa beans of the finest variety from a plantation in Venezuela. We serve you a healthier product by using milk which does not contain artificial hormones or antibiotics.”

Opening on North Federal Highway near the intersection with Northeast Seventh Street, the new Gelato-Go would join a food and drink community that includes Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar, The Juice Mafia, and Teremok Food and Deli.

What Now reached out on Friday to Gelato-Go CEO Domenico D’Addio to inquire about a new Gelato-Go location in Hallandale Beach. D’Addio was not immediately available for comment.
