A local entrepreneur is headed to the Wilton Manors to plant a new nightlife concept called Kava Jive. According to Baristaycafe.com, Anthony Kessler and Vincent Russo are the owners of the business.
What Now spoke with Kessler on Thursday to confirm the details surrounding the new spot. We can expect to find it at 2242 Wilton Drive in the Shoppes of Wilton Manors mall, where it will neighbor Georgie’s Alibi Monkey Bar, Tee Jay Thai Sushi and Java Boys.
When asked about his vision for the establishment, Kessler said: “The concept is basically that we’re bringing the kava bar up to the next level… and integrating it with a music vibe. So when we have the grand opening, there’s going to be a jazz band.”
We can also expect for a variety of entertainment at the new bar: art galleries, theatrical events and much more.
Kessler said that they don’t have an exact opening date as of now. They are working on the build-out and awaiting some licensing approvals from the city.
