After opening four locations in its New York City hometown, popular omakase brand Kissaki has opened a location in Miami Beach. The brand, which offers an omakase experience aptly described in recent Eater Miami coverage as “(somewhat) affordable,” is one of many New York concepts to make the trek to South Florida in recent years.

Kissaki’s two menus—10 courses for $100 and 15 courses for $150—“combine traditional Japanese flavors with more unique ingredients,” says the Eater coverage, which also lists non-omakase (meaning non-chef-chosen) menu choices, including, Kampa crudo, Hokkaido scallops, tuna-stuffed avocado, spicy king crab, Wagyu fried rice, and uni pasta.

The Miami Beach location, which is open from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. at 500 South Pointe Dr., Suite 160, was imagined by Lauren Jane Design. The space encompasses 3,000 square feet, incorporating the New York locations’ vibey dim lighting. Cocktail offerings include “the Kosho Margarita, Smoky Palmon, Nihon 75, and Truffle Old Fashioned.”

Kissaki joins a food and beverage community that includes restaurants like Joe’s Stone Crab and Carbone Miami, near the intersection of South Pointe Drive and Washington Avenue.
