Nine Island Avenue, the Miami Beach condominium complex located at (you guessed it) 9 Island Ave., will soon be home to the first brick-and-mortar restaurant from caterer and meal plan service Miami Art Kitchen. The brand, which has offered catering, meal plans, and private chef services for about five years, has built a following with its “healthy, balanced & delicious” food offerings.

“We don’t believe in diets or fads,” says the MAK website. “We believe in feeling good, and that quality food and exercise will contribute greatly to how you feel.”

What Now confirmed news of the opening on Monday with managing partner Hernando Gomez, who said the restaurant is still two to three months from an opening.

“Our signature is fresh, organic international cuisine,” said Gomez.

Details about the new restaurant are still largely under wraps, but Gomez says the space will seat about 60 guests, with a modern sensibility characterized by lots greens and grays.
