The Cuban chain Vicky Bakery has been expanding rapidly throughout South Florida, and now, another unit is planned for the Miami Health District, according to a filing with the state.

The new location will be located at 1390 NW 14th Ave. At this address, the restaurant will near: Woah Bao, Jay’s Hot Dogs and Chick-fil-A.

According to a LinkedIn post from the brand’s CEO, the franchisees of this location will be Orlando and Susy Ruff. What Now attempted to reach the Ruff’s, but we haven’t been able to reach them. When this location will open is unknown. A plan review was filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation on June 22. This suggests that the brand may be in the planning stages of development, but this in unconfirmed.

Vicky Bakery is a Miami-area native brand, which was founded in 1972. Since its inception, the brand has grown to nearly 20 locations. They are known for serving Cuban pastries crafted from family recipes.
